Multi Grade Filter (MGF)
A Multi Grade Filter (MGF) is a high-performance filtration system designed with multiple layers of filter media of different sizes and densities. These layers may include gravel, coarse sand, fine sand, and anthracite, arranged to provide superior removal of suspended solids, turbidity, and fine particulate matter.
At Venza Water, our MGFs are engineered for longer filtration runs, reduced backwashing frequency, and consistently clear water, making them highly suitable for industrial, commercial, and domestic water treatment applications.

Functionality
Raw water flows through multiple layers of filter media:
- Top layer (coarse media): Removes larger suspended solids.
- Middle layers (sand/fine media): Trap finer impurities and turbidity.
- Bottom layer (support media): Provides stability and prevents media loss.
This depth filtration process ensures maximum dirt-holding capacity and improved water quality. When the filter becomes clogged, it is cleaned by a reverse water flow (backwashing) to restore performance.
